A FOR AND AGAINST ESSAY

  • Write a for and against essay about the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones.

A NEWS REPORT 


Write a news report about a survival. You can also invent it.
● Write your story in 3 paragraphs (100 words):

         1. Introduce the people, place and time.
         2. Narrate the sequence of events.
         3. Explain how the story ends.


Remember to use:
  1.  Connectors of sequence:at first, after that,then, finally…
  2.  Extreme adjectives.
  3.  Past tenses.
  4.  Questions: Who?When?Where?Why?What happened?

A PERSONAL BLOG

  • Imagine you have started a new activity, course or hobby. Write a personal blog about your preparations and results.
  • Include 3 adverbs of degree/ 3 past time expressions/ past simple and present perfect tenses.
  • Follow this plan. Write 3 paragraphs (100 words):
  1. an introduction (about you and your activity) 
  2. the first post (about your preparations)   
  3. the second post (about the results)
